A Lifestyle Blog
Read about summers in Maine and growing up in New England, enjoy recipes, and commiserate over the growing pains of a college-aged girl.
Pleasure to meet you! My name is Emily, I am a rising college senior, and I have decided to use this summer as an opportunity to explore – and document – my hobbies! I recently returned from my semester abroad in Paris (Je parle un peu de Français), and begun to face the reality that my college experience is ending soon.
This summer, I am working at a small museum in coastal Maine, where I grew up summering, and trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends, though they are mostly sequestered in the Midwest. I love to cook and bake, as well as exploring new recipes. My entire family loves to read, and my Mom and I are currently working our way through Elin Hildebrand’s novels! For physical activity (which is less of a hobby and more something I dabble in) I paddle board, practice yoga, walk, and lift weights. When I graduate I want to hike the Cotswold Way – so I guess I’ll be starting that, too.
Oh- and like everyone else you know, I have started to needle-point!
The Art of Observation
Step into a curated dialogue between past and present—where abstract color fields echo mythic drama, and modern minimalism mirrors classical elegance. Through the lens of observation, art becomes a bridge across centuries.
The Art of Observation
Exploring the narratives, nuances, and inspirations behind every exhibition. A refined perspective on the art of seeing.
The Art of Observation
A sculptural journey through abstraction and presence. This exhibition invites reflection on the human form, geometry, and the quiet dialogue between material and light. Each piece stands as a moment of contemplation—where silence becomes shape.
At Musea, we celebrate the art of observation. Our space is a sanctuary where timeless masterpieces and contemporary expressions coexist—curated to inspire, provoke, and connect. We believe in the transformative power of art to shape thought, emotion, and experience.
